For the first time the International Meeting of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine will take place outside the North-American continent. We are very excited about this and we invite people from all over the world to join us in the United Kingdom.
The Academy is also planning a half-day afternoon pre-preconference workshop on BFHI at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) in Preston, UK for Tuesday 15 October. Immediately following, ABM will organize a coach from the UCLAN campus directly to the conference venue.

You can get to ABM’s 2019 annual international conference via the following SIX airports: Heathrow or Gatwick in London, England (then 2-hour train north), Manchester or Liverpool (2 closest major international airports), or Edinburgh or Glasgow, Scotland (then 2-hour train south). Manchester Airport is the closest to the venue and, using UCLAN’s model for international students studying in Preston, ground transport to the venue from Manchester airport will likely be available to book nearer the date.
